The first days of January the beaches of Las Américas Global Resort Hotel, in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), received to the participant equipment of the Beach Polo Cartagena Club Tournament. Among them they were Matimbá, El Faro, Heritage del Mar, Puerta de las Américas, Alta Mar and Cartagena Laguna Club.After disputing the final with El Faro, Cartagena Laguna Club became creditor of the tournament that maintained the same composition in all its teams: a Colombian and a foreigner. Among them there was the Argentine legion, conformed by Federico Perez Iturraspe, Iñaki Borthaburu and Martin and Nicolas de Estrada. The encounter, that was disputed with the modality Round Robin (all against all), was seen by important personalities, among them the Chancellor of Colombia, Fernando Araujo, who attended accompanied by his wife, Adriana Jaramillo; the minister of the Argentine Embassy, Antonio Deimondo; the president of the corporation of tourism, Guillermo Martinez; and the vice-president of Proexport Colombia, Nubia Martinez. The match was organized by Catalina Novoa and Gonzalo Susini.
